Herman Xu

HERMAN XU (Nemo) is an 11-year-old sixth grader at Milton Academy and is thrilled to play Nemo at Wheelock Family Theatre. An actor and musician, he has performed in over a dozen musicals with companies including Wheelock Family Theatre, Wellesley Theatre Project, and The Footlight Club. He plays piano and violin and is a member of his school jazz ensemble. He is deeply grateful to his family and teachers for their guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support. He hopes that audiences, like Nemo, a small fish in a big blue world, find the courage to begin, trust themselves, and swim toward a wider world.
