Abigail “Abby” S. Bernard

Abby is grateful and blessed to make her WFT debut! Her recent theatrical credits include Pinocchio in Shrek Jr, Katherine Plumber in Newsies Jr (both at Ensemble PAS), Celebrate the King, Jiggin’ at The Jug (both at The Strand Theatre). Abby enjoys her invitations to sing at schools, churches, galas, sporting events and charities such as The Jimmy Fund ScooperBowl fundraiser for cancer research (Next Generation Concerts), singing the national anthem at The Broadway South Boston, and as the featured soloist in the movie Candlelight My Way. Special thanks to all of her teachers and coaches, for Music: Berklee Preparatory Academy for Musical Theatre/Voice/Dance, Meegan Delvental at Dayspring Christian Academy, for Acting: Jessi Clayton at The Prep NJ, Katie Pohlman Inc, and Leblanc School of Acting, for Dance: New England Dance Academy, and for Vocals: Bobby Cronin at The Prep NJ and Meli Music Lessons. In addition to the love and support of her family and friends, Abby is also loved and inspired by her grandparents Dr. Jacob and Claudette Bernard who have been running an orphanage in Haiti for over 30 years called Hope For the Children of Haiti (www.hfchaiti.org).
