Amy Barker
is thrilled to return to Wheelock Family Theatre after appearing in their 2015 production of Shrek the Musical! Originally from Austin, Texas, Amy began her professional career as an opera singing plum for Very Fine Fruit Juice. She has appeared as Scotty/Mrs. Spencer in Merrily We Roll Along (2017), Nurse/Mrs.Harriet Pawling in Sunday in the Park with George (2016) and as Mrs. Anderssen in A Little Night Music (2015) at the Huntington Theatre Company. Other credits include Vicki Nichols in The Full Monty (Westchester Broadway Theatre and Stoneham Theatre), Irene Molloy in Hello, Dolly! (Westchester Broadway Theatre), Mrs. Segstrom in A Little Night Music (Pittsburgh CLO) as well as productions at North Shore Music Theatre, Barter Theatre, Carousel Dinner Theatre and ZACH Theatre. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas (BA in history) and The Boston Conservatory (MFA in musical theatre). For many years, Amy served as a volunteer counselor for the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, CT. Many thanks to Mark and the kiddos. Louka!
