Daniel Begin

is a director, educator, arts administrator, writer, and a firm believer that “good theatre makes good people.”  Daniel attended Emerson College where he earned a B.A. in Theatre Education and Performance, and then Merrimack College where he received his Master of Education in Community Engagement with focuses in Social Justice Education and Nonprofit Leadership. His studies culminated in his Graduate Capstone Project, Through the Looking Glass: Shining Light on Queer Identities.  Currently, Daniel works full time as the Associate Education Director at Trinity Repertory Company, but has also held roles at The Huntington Theatre Company and The American Repertory Theater in both of their Education Departments. Favorite Directing Credits include: The Old Man and the Old Moon (Rogers Center for the Arts), Peter and the Starcatcher (The Young Company at Greater Boston Stage Company), James and the Giant Peach (The Young Company at Greater Boston Stage Company), and Assistant Director Credits include Jack and the Giant and Dames at Sea (Greater Boston Stage Company). Upcoming: Assistant Director of La Tempestad (Trinity Repertory Company). Thanks to everyone for making Daniel’s WFT debut such an amazing experience! Break legs everyone!
