Aimee Doherty

previous WFT@BU credits include Billy Elliot, Hairspray, Honk! and Annie. She recently appeared as Rosalind in As You Like It at Shakespeare & Company and in the Maria Friedman directed revival of Merrily We Roll Along at the Huntington Theatre as Gussie Carnegie. Aimee also soloed with the Boston Pops under the baton of Keith Lockhart in the Leonard Bernstein Centennial Tribute concert series. Other regional credits include: Sunday in the Park with George, A Little Night Music (Huntington Theatre), Cabaret (Moonbox Productions), 1776, Speed the Plow, Ragtime (New Repertory Theatre), Romeo & Juliet, She Loves Me (Greater Boston Stage), Little Foxes, Clybourne Park (New Century Theatre), Shear Madness (Charles Street Playhouse). She is a two-time recipient of the Elliot Norton Award and a two-time recipient of the IRNE Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical.
