Jen Alison Lewis

works to connect and challenge our world with honest, playful theatre. She currently serves as the Interim Executive Director of StageSource. An actor, director, teacher, coach, playwright and mom, Jen has taught at Bunker Hill Community College, Dean College, Northeastern University, and Wheelock Family Theatre, where she has been part of the faculty since 2015. She holds an MFA in Theatre Education and Applied Theatre from Emerson College, a BFA in Acting from NYU, and has trained extensively with Shakespeare and Company. Favorite roles include Rosalinde in As You Like It which she produced as Merely Players; Desdemona in Othello (Dream Role Players), Hermia in Midsummer Night’s Dream, Dogberry in Much Ado (It’s a Fiasco); Legally Dead (Boston Playwrights’ Theatre); Kate in Taming of the Shrew; Living Out (Lyric Stage); and The Friends of Eddie Coyle (Stickball). She has aided in the development of countless plays at Boston Playwrights’ Theatre. She can also be found on commercials and interactive media projects, both on-camera and voice-over.
