Michael Pisaturo

is a Boston-based theatre educator, playwright, and dramaturg. He has facilitated classes with Boston College’s Prison Arts Outreach, the Arlington Center for the Arts, and Ward After-School Program and is the co-founder of Write Up, a non-profit offering free playwriting and songwriting workshops to underfunded high school theatre programs. He has also collaborated with Central Square Theater’s resident ensemble Youth Underground and the Kennedy Center’s Arts Integration Conference. His work has been developed at the Association for Theatre in Higher Education National Conference, William Inge Theater Festival New Play Lab, and Samuel French Off Off-Broadway Short Play Festival. He has been granted fellowships through the Kennedy Center Playwriting and Dramaturgy Intensives and is an Associate Member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
