Mary Lennox, alone and bitter about her circumstances, is moved to the house of her absentee uncle. Through her curiosity (and a helpful robin), she discovers a long locked garden and uncovers a family’s secret anguish. As the garden comes back to life with assistance from Dickon and the sickly Colin learns to stand on his own two feet, Mary’s life blossoms with friendship, family, and love. ‘The Secret Garden’ reveals a young person’s meaningful growth through imagination and ingenuity.
