Amanda Gibson
is an artist and craftsperson living and working in Worcester, Massachusetts. Utilizing her Bachelor’s degree in Illustration, she has been working as a puppet maker and restorer as well as scenic builder in the world of theater. She also creates props, cosplays, portraiture, sculpture, and miniature illustrative dioramas. Storytelling has always been a driving force in Amanda’s work and a major reason for her artistic pursuits. In addition to building puppets, Amanda also performs with them. She has puppeteered for multiple shows and events and her experience in puppet-use has helped inform her building skills.
