Kara Chu Nelson

is thrilled to be making her WFT debut! Kara grew up seeing shows at Wheelock, and her first theatre role was as Mrs. Pugh in a middle school production of Annie, so this is all beautifully “full circle” for her. Kara has also worked at Lyric Stage Co., North Shore Music Theatre, Moonbox Productions, and Seacoast Rep, among others. Favorite past roles include Éponine in Les Misérables, Marcy Park in …Spelling Bee, Hope Cladwell in Urinetown, and Samantha Brown in The Mad Ones. Many thanks to her parents for never missing a show.
