Lisa Rowe-Beddoe

(She/Her/Hers) is a british-born actress,teacher and voice over artist – (AEA/Sag/AFTRA) who has taught drama to actors of all ages for over 25 years. She holds a BA in english and drama from Exeter University,(UK) an MA in performance,(specializing in Shakespeare), and received her conservatory training from Mountview Theatre Academy of Theatre Arts in London. As a teacher, Lisa taught for over 20 years in both the UK and US school systems as well as privately coaching individuals and facilitating courses and classes to actors of all ages. Some of her favourite’s include; ‘Shakespeare for Teens’, Improvisation, Scene Study, Character Development. Monologue and Audition Prep, and Play Productions. In Boston, she served as Assistant Diirector of Education for WFT for several years and as british dialect coach on several productions for Zeitgeist Theatre Co. As an actress Lisa co founded Robideez a theatre company that toured extensively through southern England, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Scotland.  She also earned her UK Equity card, acting in BBC radio 4 drama productions. Since living in the US she has earned many regional acting,stage managing and directing credits and as a voiceover artist has been in countless industrials and commercials. Most recently Lisa’s voice can be heard in the movie, ‘The Good Liar’ with Helen Mirren and Ian Mckellan, as the ‘receptionist’, on the other end of the ‘line’ with Sir Ian! lisarowe-beddoe.com
