More Information
Because Wheelock Family Theatre has its own mainstage programming, special engagements, classes, and workshops, as well as being a Boston University event space, we have limited availability. Please use this form and include any necessary setup and rehearsal time in your request.
Non-Profit and For-Profit Rates are available for all of our spaces, and full estimates for space and staffing expenses can be provided based on the details of your event.
All users are required to sign a standard license agreement and provide a Certificate of Insurance. Specific insurance requirements can be provided during the inquiry process. Users may use their own insurance or may inquire about other options.
An Event Liaison is required for all rentals. The remaining staff, including technicians and house staff, will be based on the event type. While an Event Liaison is required for the duration of the event, all prior arrangements are the responsibility of the renter, including arranging catering, renting equipment, and requesting any services. WFT can provide a list of approved vendors for these purposes.
In most cases, a small rep light and sound plot will be available. Additional lighting fixtures and sound equipment may be available to rent, with the user incurring any necessary staffing fees.
In some cases, the standard rep plot may not be available due to our existing production schedule – please confirm with WFT Management before booking your event.
All technical needs should be confirmed with WFT Management 30+ days before the event.
WFT is dedicated to providing accessible theatre for all and encourages renters to employ best practices for group and individual accessibility needs, and vigilance in the protection of minors.
