Actor, Dancer, Choreographer, Arts Educator and Fitness Professional. Juanita is a graduate of Pace University’s Commercial Dance program and has worked many years as a performing artist and teacher in Boston and New York City. As an artist she is firmly dedicated to the afro-diasporic roots of urban dance, and curious to learn and share how movement is passed down through generations. She has formally studied Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Hip Hop dance, and has also explored Tap, Vogue, Lindy Hop, Salsa, Dancehall, Bachata, Merengue, Sabar, Afro-Fusion, Haitian Fokloric Dance etc. She has performed with Boston based dance companies Phunk Phenomenon, Danza Organica and Rainbow Tribe. Her Theatre Credits include The Wiz at Lyric Stage company and James and the Giant Peach at Wheelock Family Theatre.
