Leigh Barrett*
has built her thirty year career on New England stages including North Shore Music Theatre, Reagle Music Theatre, Lyric Stage Co, SpeakEasy Stage, The Huntington Stage, Greater Boston Stage, The Rep @Hanover Theatre, Gloucester Stage, New Repertory Theatre, Bridge Rep and Central Square Theatre and of course Wheelock Family Theatre @Boston University!. Favorite roles include Souvenir (Florence), Gypsy (Rose), Company (JoAnne), Passion (Fosca), Grey Gardens (Little Edie/Big Edie), Follies (Sally) and Little Women (Marmee). The proud recipient of four Elliot Norton Awards, including the Prize for Sustained Excellence 2018. A director as well, she recently directed Sister Act for the Lyric Stage. A passionate advocate for the well being of artists, she is pursuing certification as a Consent Forward Artist. So excited to be back with this team of talented artists!
