Kathleen Doyle

is a visual story teller – a costume designer working in theater, opera, dance and animation. Her ebullient designs have been seen all over the country- including New York City Center, La MaMa, Here Art Center, The Joyce Theater and Jazz at Lincoln Center and featured in The New York Times. Her builds have been seen all over the place – from Walt Disney World, Florida, to The Santa Fe Opera, from Arizona Opera to Opera Alaska. Projects abroad include a solo show in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and an award-winning puppet musical in Daegu, South Korea and a residency at Thang Long National Water Puppetry Theater in Hanoi, Viet Nam. Recent projects funded by Honolulu Theatre For Youth, The New Victory Theater/42nd St. Studios, The American Museum of Natural History and The Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia. Doyle also can be found ambling around beaches and bodegas, inside a giant polar bear puppet, ‘Qanuk Nanuk’, seeking a healthier Arctic climate. M.F.A. in Theater Design, NYU.
