Arlen Hancock

(He/Him/His) is a licensed teaching artist and stage combat choreographer who holds an MFA/MA in Theatre Education and Applied Theatre at Emerson College alongside a BFA in Acting from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Arlen has taught and choreographed with multiple organizations around Boston including Boston Arts Academy, SAY Summerville, Pierce School, and Company One. He is a certified actor combatant through the Society of American Fight Directors and is pursuing certification of consent based teaching/choreographing through Intimacy Directors and Coordinators. Arlen is also a transplant from the Philadelphia Theatre scene where some of his favorite past credits in acting and choreography include Tiger Style (PAPA/InterAct), Midsummer Night’s Dream (Philadelphia Theatre Co.), Anna (EgoPo) and It Girl (Simpatico) . Additionally, Arlen serves as co-founder of Theatrical Trainer which incorporates theatre artistry and movement to provide mindful and physical wellness to the community.
