Jack Baumrind

is so excited to return to WFT@BU to play one of his favorite characters. His first steps on stage at age 5 was as Woodstock (A Charlie Brown Christmas) at Boston Children’s Theater. Other credits included James and the Giant Peach at WFT@BU when he was 8 years old, and as Tiny Tim (2019) and Boy Scrooge (2021) in A Christmas Carol at North Shore Music Theater. More recently, he played Kurt (The Sound of Music) at NSMT, and joined the original cast of Ragtimes 25th Reunion Concert at the Minskoff Theater in NYC. Last Christmas, he starred as Ralphie Parker (A Christmas Story) at Harwich’s Cape Cod Theater Company. Some of his other favorite roles included Olaf (Frozen) and Gavroche (Les Miserables) both at The Company Theater, and Michael Banks (Mary Poppins) and Chip (Beauty and the Beast) both performed on Cape Cod. He attends NYC’s Broadway Artists Alliance. Jack is so grateful to WFT@BU for providing him with this incredible opportunity to perform with his best buddy and stage sister, Emilia, and return to one of his favorite theaters.
