Tanya Nixon-Silberg

Tanya Nixon-Silberg (she/her), Founder of Little Uprisings, is a black mother, artist, educator and facilitator. She has been working with children for racial justice for over 5 years as co-founder of Wee The People and continuing faculty for the Racial Reconciliation and Healing project. You’d mostly find Tanya playing, radicalizing and learning from her 7 year old daughter Myla, puppeteering and dreaming up fun ways to engage children in racial justice and radically imaging how we all get free together.
